Warranty

HOME FIRES (PTY) LTD., manufacturers of Home Fires fireplaces and braais, warrants the firebox of the fireplace against faulty workmanship or faulty material under normal use of a period of 15 years from the date of purchase.

The firebox is specifically but not exclusively guaranteed against warping under normal use. (Normal use implies that fire must be made in the ember maker, or the ashpan of built-in braais and in the grate of the fireplaces.)

This warranty does not cover the logpan, grate, ashpan, or any other replaceable parts of the units.

Any fireplace or braai needs care throughout its lifetime, and regular painting and maintenance is essential to keep the warranty valid.

Damage caused by rust as a result of adverse conditions, misuse or water leakage is not covered by this warranty.

Damage caused at the time of installation or due to incorrect installation is not covered by this warranty. It must be noted that braais and fireplaces must be correctly installed to allow for expansion.

Any defect that is covered by this warranty will be inspected by a representative of Home Fires (Pty) Ltd. and only if in his discretion it will be considered for repair or replacement. His opinion is final and binding.

Under no circumstances will Home Fires (Pty) Ltd. be liable for any consequential loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the use or operation of Home Fires' products.
